It’s been a week since our Reunion gathering at the Presidio Officers Club, and I would say there is still a glow around all those who attended — the good feelings of seeing good and old friends again, whether the time interval since last being together was a week or 50 years.
Here are some quotes from posts on the class Facebook page from the last week:
“After 50 years it seems like it was just yesterday“
– Naomi Murai
“What an amazing time we all had last night (September 7) at the 50th Reunion of the Lowell Classes of January and June 1974! We exceeded expectations with over 200 tickets sold and filled the Presidio Officers’ Club in San Francisco with a happy and enthusiastic crowd who kept the party going from 6 pm to 11 pm!”
– John Crittenden
“The 50th Lowell reunion was basically a golden ticket to a room full of love, joy and laughter. Now that we are seniors, we can talk less about the stresses of work life and we can dish on the important topics like – grandkids, traveling, home projects, hobbies -pickleball, gardening, cooking, Mah Jong, Netflix, and don’t forget the wonderful memories and friendships we made at Lowell. I felt so relaxed that I ditched my high heels for a pair of comfy shoes!
“Thanks John W Crittenden and reunion committee for planning a five star event!“
– Debbie Gin
